The stock Sportsman 850/ 1000 voltage regulators are terrible. Â They are a known problem and can easily burn out from excess heat, especially when using high amperage accessories. Â Do not replace it with another OEM unit! Â This new improved regulator uses Mosfet technology. Â What does that mean? Â It is different circuitry that allows it to run much cooler, has a cleaner regulated energy, extends battery life, and removes the stator load resulting in more power. Â Best of all it will last MUCH longer.. Â Simply plug in and go, no modifications required.
 Voltage regulator 100-4543 is a direct replacement for Polaris Recall Z-16-01-C and includes a conversion harness to allow a worry free connection to older models main harness. This is a replacement for Polaris part 4013978, 4015816, 4014856, 4016868.
