Cylinder Boring

If you have a Polaris ATV cylinder that is scored, out of round, or simply worn beyond specifications we can repair it for you. We invested in the equipment to offer professional cylinder boring in our shop here in Minnesota. We require that you send in your cylinder and we will bead blast, bore to the proper size and clearance, and finish it with a nice cross hatched honing. After some simple cleaning, it is ready to install.

Please send the new piston you would like to use along with the cylinder so we can match the piston to cylinder clearance. We can also provide a piston kit for you at an additional cost (usually about $99.95 per piston) if you do not have one.

It is the customers responsibility for sending the cylinder in to us. Be sure to package it very carefully so it does not get damaged in shipping. Also, you must include a note with your contact information and machine year, make, model.

Turnaround time is usually about a week once we receive it so, please expect AT LEAST 4 weeks including the shipping time. Since this is not an exchange program, you will get your same cylinder back. Feel free to call us with any questions before ordering or shipping your cylinder. Phone number is 651-983-7823 Monday through Friday.

We can bore any early nineties to current Polaris iron lined two stroke or four stroke cylinder. Re-sleeving is also available, call for details.
